Stannus Family
Joseph Hamilton was born 1773 in Ireland. He married Martha Boyd, who was born 1782 in Ireland. After their marriage they went to Alabama. Their children were Eliza Jane, William, John, Margaret, Joseph, Samuel, James, Robert, David, and Martha who married John Stannus Dec. 25, 1849. They came to the United States and settled in Alabama.

Note: I have not seen any record that shows me Joseph & Martha went to Alabama. I have heard this from some other family members.
