Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery, for Everett Thompson, 86, who passed away on March 3, 2023 at his residence in Youngsville.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Norma Burleigh Thompson; his daughter, Joy Sylvester and her husband Guy; son, Craig Thompson and his wife Angela; three grandchildren, Josh and Alex Sylvester and Aidan Macaluso.

Preceded in death by parents, Dutch Thompson and Ida Fruge Thompson; brother, Lawrence Thompson; sister, Joyce Thompson Daigle.

Mr. Thompson honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an Electrical Engineer in the oil and gas industry. Many hobbies that Everett enjoyed throughout his life included being active in local genealogy chapter, photography, flying gliders, and especially loved traveling the world with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and his precious grandchildren.
