Alexandra Czaikowskaja, (Not as written on the headstone) was born near Minsk, in Russia. Her husband, Antone Jakucenja, AKA Tony, was also from Russia. He came to the U.S. first, escaping the Russian Revolution.
She and her sister, came with their two sons, Archie, and William in 1914. Their ship, The USS Rotterdam, AKA Dwinsk, was underfire while pulling out of port. They lived in Sioux City, Iowa area all their lives. They had a daughter and a son born here. Helen, and Tony, (8885772) who died as a child. All are buried in Floyd Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa.
Alexandra died in a roll over car accident, while returning home from her sons restaurant, Archies Waeside Inn, in LeMars, Iowa Obituary as follows. Mrs A Jackson died in accident south of Hinton:
Mrs Alexandra Jackson, died of injuried suffered Saturday evening in a one car accident on highway 75, about one and a half miles south of Hinton, Iowa. The Driver of the car was also injured.
Mrs Jackson was thrown from an automobile driven by Ollie Yakusen, her 68 year old nephew. also of 514 Jones Street. She was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital here by Dr Thomas L Coriden, medical examiner, who stated, that she also died of a brain injury a crushed chest, fractures of the ribs and a double fracture of the left wrist.
According to an investigating office, the car driven by Mr. Yakusen, went out of control, after passing another car. It swung to one side of the highway and then to the other, before rolling over, it was reported.
Mr. Yakusen, suffered lacerations of the scalp and ex rays were taken of the shoulders and head to determine extent of other injuries...His condition was termed, "fairly good". The two were returning to Sioux City, from LeMars, Iowa, where they had been visiting a son of Mrs. Jackson's Archie, who owns and operates the Waeside Café there.
E.L Wilson of Merrill, Iowa saw the car rolling while he was driving about a half a mile away. The Yakusen car passed John R Vust 415 W 2nd street, just before the mishap. After going out of control the death car careened more than 500 feet before coming to rest.

Survivors include, in addition to the son Archie of LeMars, include another son, William a Daughter, Mrs. Helen Kahler of Sioux City, 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. The Body was taken to the Rutledge Funeral home. This was from the Sioux City Journal...
