Musician, Singer. She was a Colombian singer and accordion player whose nickname was Chela. In 1988, with her sister Danny Ceballos, she formed the group: "Las Musas del Vallenato." While traveling to Cartagena de Indias, she met Patricia Teherán, who joined the musical group in 1993, leaving due to a series of conflicts. In January of 1995, Patricia Teherán died in a car accident while returning to Cartagena from Barranquilla. Despite the fact that they were no longer work colleagues, she was strongly affected by this sudden death. Their musical group continued with their career and managed to be known in other countries such as Venezuela, Ecuador, and even the United States, receiving thousands of awards worldwide. In 2001 she was diagnosed with cancer in her left eye, and eventually losing her vision in the eye. With no health insurance, her family had to sell many things to finance medical treatment. But unfortunately, her family ran out of money to pay for the treatment, and Chela's health worsened. Her appearance looked like that of a skeleton, and her body was already weakened. On February 13, 2016, at 5:30 a.m., she died of complications from eye cancer. She was buried on February 15 in the cemetery Jardines de Cartagena. Even after her death, the musical group the Vallenato continues with her sister in the lead.
