Sister Leech was converted to God at the age of 20 years, and united with the Methodist church at the time. She has been a most devoted member ever since. The writer visited her the day she died and she gave clear testimony of the saving power of Christ and for a blessed hope beyond the grave.
The funeral services were conducted by the pastor at Oskaloosa and her remains were interred in the McLouth cemetery." The Oskaloosa Times (Oskaloosa, Kansas), February 26, 1897
