Sibby Joseph Bourgoyne, Jr. passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the age of 78. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree from LSU. Sibby entered the Navy, completed OCS, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Lieutenant. Years later, he retired from DEQ in 2004. Sibby is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Delaney Bourgoyne; son, Brad (Molly); grandchildren, Joseph, Anna and David; siblings, Ann Cole (Gary) and Wayne Bourgoyne (Cathy); and a host of other family members and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sibby Sr. and Doris Bourgoyne; and brother, Lester. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 8:15am until the time of funeral services at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Leon Kraft for his exceptional care that he extended to Sibby and Donna during his practice.
