Edna Tackett, age 75, of Dutch Run Rd. Beaver, Ohio, died Monday October 1, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon, Ohio. She was born February 18, 1932 in McGoffin County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Derice and Mary Tackett. She is survived by one brother, Daniel Tackett of Big Run, Ohio. Edna was a beloved sister, Aunt to many nieces and nephews and to so many as she gave so unselfishly throughout her lifetime. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Beecher, Normie, and Rex and four sisters, Angeline, Ivory, Reeval, and Felcie. She touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed by everyone. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday October 5, 2007 at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Germany Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
