Virginia Ann Aaronson, Dolly, beloved wife, Frother, mother, and Ganny, 82, danced her way into the Heavens peacefully Saturday morning, November 19, 2022 in her home with her family around her in Alvin, Texas. Dolly was born on August 10, 1940 in Drew, Mississippi to the late LD and Lucille Edwards.

Dolly graduated from Marian High School in Marian, Alabama in 1958. She later went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Ole Miss University in Oxford, Mississippi in 1981 with honors. In December 1990, she graduated from University of Houston with a Master's Degree in Education with honors. Dolly was an educator for 27 years, leaving a legacy of love for children in Job Core, Richmond VA State School, North Panola ISD, Alvin ISD and Santa Fe ISD. She was the director of the HOSTS program for Santa Fe Elementary and touched the lives of struggling children and the loving volunteers.

Dolly was preceded in death by her son Matthew Aaronson, her parents, sister Dorothy Bishop, brothers: Billy, Sydney, Doug, Tommy, and Charlie Edwards. She is survived by her devoted and beloved husband of nearly 61 years, Ron, her Wild Man. Her loving daughters Theresa Inge and Michelle and beloved son-in-law John Starbuck. Her beautiful grandchildren and their families: Benjamin Tubbs and wife Melisa, Aaron Inge and wife Leslie, Skye and husband Ryan Lockwood and precious great grandchildren Bubba Inge, Joshua Aaronson, Nina Inge, Michaiah Aaronson, Irelyn Inge. Sister Paulette Jones and brother Allan and wife Jackie Edwards. And many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A private graveside service will be held at Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family has requested all donations be made to Israel Benevolence Fund, Inc for widows and orphans.
