Bio

I was born and raised in Kansas. I moved to NW Houston in 1986. I am a mom to two History teachers that I could not be prouder of. Genealogy runs deep in our family.I find cemeteries comforting and peaceful. Therefore, it is only fitting that I take pictures while I am in one. I want future generations to be able to easily find information on their relatives. The internet is a wonderful tool to use in this way. I volunteer my time as a National Memorial Lady. We are a group of 27 ladies who honor our vets at every opportunity. I also am a Senior Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders who escort our military safely to their final resting place on motorcycles. I have a special gratitude for our military men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice as well as all who served the USA proudly. Both of my fathers-in-law served in WWII, one in the US Army Air Corp, and the other in the US Navy.

If you are requesting a transfer for a particular memorial, please let me know what relation that you are to the deceased. I will make consideration at that point. If you want to use any of my gravestone pics, feel free to....no need to ask. If your correspondence is RUDE in any way; it will be ignored. This site was created to help others, not criticize, harass, bully or badger and certainly not for competition. Be kind to your fellow volunteers and the kindness will be returned! We all share the same goal of helping others. America....Home of the Free because of the BRAVE.
