Mrs. Daralee Anderson Corson, 64, of Burnettown, SC, entered into rest peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 31, 2022.

Born in Arlington, VA and a resident of the area most her of life, she was a daughter of the late Walter Hughey Anderson, Sr. and the late Doris Jean Shinn Carpenter. Prior to her health declining, she had been a Bartender and Server at the Red Lobster on Washington Road in Augusta, for thirty-years. She loved riding her motorcycle. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Daralee was the first person at the former University Hospital to have the LVAD procedure. She could often be found at the Heart and Vascular Center encouraging those who had or were about to have the LVAD procedure.

In addition to her parents and grandchildren, family members include her children, and a brother, the late Walter H. Anderson, Jr.

Friends will be greeted by the family on Thursday, November 3, 2022, beginning at 5 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. In accordance with her wishes, Daralee will be cremated following the service.

If so desired, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
