Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. Rosetta Smalley Schnider in Luray, Missouri, Thursday morning. Mrs. Schnider was 85 years of age.

She was born March 17, 1866, in Kansas, and was twice married. Her first husband was James Smalley. After his death, she married George Schnider, who survives.

She is also survived by the following children: Fred Smalley, Keokuk Iowa; Harley Smalley, Bloomington; Arby Smalley, Bloomington; Mrs. Myrtle Lee, Clinton; Joe Smalley, Louisville, Kentucky; Irvin Smalley, Paducah, Kentucky; and James Smalley, of Moline.

Two sons preceded her in death. A brother, Frank Parker, of Lorene, Illinois, also survives.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Rosetta later married George Schneider.
