After an illness of 6 months, Mrs. Delia Wall, 63, a resident of San Rafael for 50 years, died at her home, 1031 C Street, Monday morning, at 1:10 a.m.
A native of Galway, Ireland, Mrs. Wall came to California at the age of 13. She received her education in Stockton. With her husband, James H. Wall, who died 12 years ago, Mrs. Wall came to San Rafael shortly after her marriage. Mr. Wall was in the plumbing business in San Rafael for over 40 years. All eight children of the couple were born in San Rafael.
Mrs. Wall was a devoted member of the Altar Society of St. Raphael's Church and had an interest in all church and civic activities.
She was the mother of Thomas J., James H., Harry Edward, and Rafael Wall, and Mrs. Mary H. Heer of San Jose; Mrs. Anna F. Wright, Mrs. Martha W. Colombo of San Rafael, and the late Norah Reichmuth, and was the grandmother of Margaret Reichmuth of San Francisco; Doris and Robert Wright and Margaret Wall.
Funeral services for the beloved woman were held Wednesday morning in the chapel of Keaton & Dusel, and a requiem mass was said in St. Raphael's Church. Interment was in the family plot in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
