Born in Chelsea, October 12, 1958 he was the son of Ralph and Connie (Cambria) Amentola.

Ralph was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1976. While in High School Ralph played varsity football. He later coached in the Chelsea Pop Warner Program. He was a Baker by trade having worked for Dunkin Donuts and other shops in the area. Ralph was a Wakefield resident since 1998 and was a member of the Sagamore Club of Chelsea and the West Side Social Club in Wakefield. He was also involved as a Councilor at the Horizon House in Wakefield.

He was the son of Ralph Amentola Sr. of Bradenton, Fl and Connie (Cambria) Amentola of Wakefield. He was the brother of John Amentola and his wife Karen and Julie Keough and her husband Tim all of Wakefield, and the uncle of John and Michael Amentola and Lauren and Andrea Keough.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday 1-4 & 6-8 PM. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
