Charles Krob, son of Frank and Anna Krob, was born on a farm near Cuba, Kan., Aug. 29, 1885 and passed away at his home in Cuba, Kan., Jan. 30, 1967 at the age of 81 years.
He was united in marriage to Emma Havel, Feb. 23, 1909. To this union two children were born. They farmed near Cuba until 1940 when they retired and moved into Cuba.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Frank; two half-sisters, Frances Mottl and Anna Krob; step-mother, and one grandson.
Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Tony of Cuba; daughter, Mrs. Erney Slavik of Narka; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Shepek of Belleville and Mrs. Frank Krasny of Cuba.
Memorial services were held at the Cuba United Presbyterian church with Rev. Fred Mansfield in charge. Interment was made at the Kopsa cemetery.
