Emma Fisher Lesovsky, daughter of John and Josephine Cyperova Fisher, was born at Lanham on May 28, 1889, and died at her home in Cuba on February 11, at the age of 87 years, eight months and 13 days.

She received her education at the Beebe school, east of Cuba. She was united in marriage to Joseph E. Lesovsky on January 11, 1910 at Belleville, to this union one daughter, Helen was born. She spent most of her life in the Cuba community and was engaged in farming with her husband. They retired from the farm in 1950 and moved to Cuba.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, in 1976, seven brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen Shulda of Cuba; one grandson, Clay Shulda, two granddaughters, Edyth Deckard and Edna Shulda; one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 13, 1977 at 3:00 p.m., at the United Presbyterian Church of Cuba, conducted by the Reverend Tom Ballard. Interment was made in the National Bohemian cemetery.
