Edna Pearce was born in Wolverhampton and resided in Willenhall, West Midlands. There she met her husband George Pearce and they moved to Telford in Shropshire. They had 11 children together and over 30 grandchildren.

Edna died aged 67 from Emphysema. She is buried with her beloved husband George in the St Michaels Churchyard in Telford, Shropshire.
