Lana Moore Cochran, age 77 of Dalton, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Mr. & Mrs. Geather Moore and mother Lottie Barrett, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Alonzo "Lonnie" Cochran; daughter Sloan Brookshire; brother Ronnie Barrett; and sister Rena Lowe.
Lana was a member of Center Point Baptist Church since 1982.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Todd Bolden of Sugar Valley; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Fonda Brookshire of Marietta, Steve Cochran of California and John and Shelby Cochran of Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Rebecca and Jeff Weeks of Dalton; brothers, Bill Moore of Dalton and Howard Barrett of Savannah, Ga.; grandchildren, Katie (Clay) Hitchcock, Haley (Ryan) Vitello, Ashley Goble, Zack Goble, Ben Cochran and Zack Cochran; great-grandchildren, Kynley Hitchcock, and Cambrie Hitchcock; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Sunday, March 27, 2022, 3:00 pm. with Rev. Matt Futch officiating.
