Karen M. Dickerson, age 70, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. Daughter of Houston "Dick" and Doris (Snodgrass) Dickerson, Karen was born on July 21, 1951, in Modesto, California.

Karen possessed a great love of nature, always taking time to feed the birds and to garden. Animals held a very special place in Karen's heart, but cats were by far her favorite. Karen enjoyed crafts, homesteading and loved to shop at every given opportunity. Karen also had a sweet tooth that couldn't be rivaled and her recipe for homemade stuffing will be fought over for generations to come. Karen attended Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Eagle Rock, Missouri and enjoyed being a part of their outreach ministries. Karen had a caring heart and spent her life helping others, she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

McGuire and her husband Curtis, of Monett, Missouri; four grandchildren, Candace Nicole French, Stephanie Danielle Collins, Sarah Elizabeth McGuire and Caroline Riley McGuire; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Todd Dickerson, of California.

In addition to her parents, Houston and Doris Dickerson, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Larry and Bill Wade; and one sister, Gloria Ann (Wade) Travitzky.

No services are scheduled at this time, the family will be announcing a celebration of life at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
