Kitty was the best cat. She appeared out-of-the-blue in our yard one day after we moved to Marietta in Aug 1989. Our other cat we owned in Mableton, Kitty-Kat, disappeared once we moved from Mableton. At first when Kitty appeared, I thought she was Kitty-Kat because they looked so much alike, but their personalities were totally different. Kitty-Kat was wild and not friendly to people at all so I never got very close to her. Kitty was a very loving and friendly cat. Kitty could come down a tree faster than she went up. She was just a great cat, but most of all, she loved Skipper. She thought she was Skipper's protector and it was fun to watch how she followed him and would play with him even though he had gone blind. We moved to Powder Springs in Nov 1998, and I worried about Kitty, but she adjusted to the move very well. There were coyotes that roamed in the land behind our house and I believe after a rain storm one night a coyote might have gotten her. We never found Kitty's body. RIP Kitty.
