He was leader of the Union of Meat, friend of General Peron, founder of the movement of October 17, 1945, when he marched from Berisso, in the north suburbs of the city of La Plata, to the Plaza de Mayo leading columns of workers of abattoirs and meat packings establishments demanding the release of General Juan Domingo Peron, jailed in Martín García island by the government of General Farrel. In 1946, Perón won the presidential elections topping lists of the Labour Party. For disagreements with Perón was imprisoned between 1948 and 1955, being released by the "Liberating Revolution" that overthrew Peron in September 1955. He wrote several books recounting their political experiences: "Yo hice el 17 de Octubre" and "La farsa del Peronismo".
