Formerly of Hollis, NH
Daughter of Joshua and Abigail (Richardson) Wright.
Abby Flagg in her tale of the Old City claims that Abbott courted three daughter's of Capt. Joshua Wright and married the youngest. The names that she chooses for her children i.e. Timothy, Abigail and Abial (Abijah) would indicate that she probably is the daughter of Capt. Joshua. A daughter of Capt. Wright is more likely to marry the son of a prominent man of Hollis (they also lived in the same neighborhood) than a shoemaker, although if the tales about Benjamin Abbott Jr. are true she would have been better off marrying the shoemaker. She was taken to Boston by one of her daughters who married a Sea Captain and that is probably where she died.
