Screenwriter, Film Director. Born Mohamad bin Mohamad Khalid, he is best known for his comedic films including "Zombi Kampung Pisang", "Hantu Kak Limah" and "Rock". Before venturing into film-making, he worked in a government office. In 1986, he joined an amateur band named "Drop Out" as the band's keyboardist. He first proposed a television series that chronicles the legend of Puteri Gunung Ledang. This was later expanded into a film project, and the film was released in 2004, directed by Saw Teong Hin. In 2003, he directed his first film "Lang Buana". In 2005, he directed the film "Rock", which was inspired by his interest in rock music and his experiences while in the band "Drop Out". In 2008, he directed Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang, a black and white film. The film won Best Director at the Malaysia Film Festival. In 2016, he opened his café, Sarang Art Hub. He died of heart disease in 2021.
