Frank Alsin, a former resident of this county, was killed in Pueblo, Colorado on Wednesday of last week. Mr. Alsin was on his way to church when the accident happened. On his way he noticed a large arc light which was not burning and grasped hold of a wire which he supposed was used for the purpose of jerking the carbon into place. The wire proved to be a live one and he received the full current of electricity which killed him instantly. The remains were brought to Madrid and the funeral held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Lutheran church and the remains interred in the Madrid cemetery. The deceased was about forty years of age and was born and grew to manhood in this vicinity. For a time he was engaged in the boot and shoe business but later sold out and removed to Kansas and from there went to Pueblo. A wife, his parents and several brothers and sisters survive.
