James "Jimmy" M Elliott - Tailgunner who died in Istres France in WW2. Standing with cousin Elwood Elliott. This could have been in 1943 just before he died. Elwood would have been in 8th grade.

James "Jimmy" M Elliott - Tailgunner who B17 shot down by Germans over Istres, France and fell into Lake Lavalduc. 7 bodies found including Jimmy's his was returned - 1 crew parachuted and held POW. Photo of his bomber crew in Oct 1943. They crashed 16 Nov 1943.
