Maxine Hinkle, 89, wife of the late Calvin S. Hinkle and a resident of Westport, CT since 1959 passed away on Friday March 9, 2018 at Maplewood of Orange Assisted Living.
She was born in West Virginia on Dec 10, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Guy and Vera (Law) Heckert. Maxine was an active member of the Westport community and was a member of the Westport Wise Women, The Westport Women's Club. The Westport Beach Bunch, and the Westport Gourmet Club. She was a volunteer at the Carousel Thrift Store and a long time member of the Southport Congregational Church.
Survivors include one son, one daughter: Joan Bowser and her husband. Four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and her partner of seventeen years.
