A retired farmer, he was born Nov. 16, 1882, in Sandusky, O., the son of Jefferson and Mary WALTERS BOWERSOX. His marriage was Aug. 11, 1908, in Rochester, to Goldie DUKES, who survives. Mr. Bowersox was a resident of this area 60 years.
Also surviving are two sons, Chester M. BOWERSOX of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Herbert H. BOWERSOX, of South Bend; five grandchildren, and five great-gandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded in death.
Final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. Norris KING will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Leiters Ford. Friends may call at the funeral home ater 2 p.m. Thursday.
