Mrs. Goldie BOWERSOX, 80, Leiters Ford, died at 2:45 a.m. today in the Pulaski Memorial hospital at Winamac. She had been a patient one month and ill two months.
Born July 11, 1892, in Fulton county, she was the daughter of U. E. and Rosa ZOLMAN DUKES. Her marriage was Aug. 11, 1908, in Rochester to Leroy BOWERSOX. He preceded in death Sept. 11, 1968. She had lived her entire life in the Leiters Ford area and was a member of the Leiters Ford United Methodist church and the Rebekah lodge at Kewanna.
Surviving are two sons, C. M. BOWERSOX, Clearwater, Fla., and Herbert M. BOWERSOX, South Bend; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. One sister and three brothers preceded in death.
Final rites will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. David FRETTINGER will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Leiters Ford. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
