Stella Jensik, youngest child of Anton and Barbara Marsicek, was born on a farm south of Narka June 25th, 1902 and died, after a year's illness, at the St. Joseph hospital, Concordia August 14th, 1973 at the age of 71 years, 1 month 19 days.

She received her education at the Crescent school in Republic County.

She was united in marriage to Ernest C. Jensik, December 3rd, 1919 at Belleville. They lived on a farm south of Narka for 42 years. In 1961 they retired and moved to Narka where she resided until her death. To this union three children were born.

In 1969, she and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Narka Presbyterian church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Amelia Kadlec, of Munden.

Survivors are her husband, Ernest; one son, Jim and wife, Una Mae of Belleville; two daughters, Joan Tibbetts and husband Dean of Belleville; and Elayne Fisher and husband Fred of Narka; six grandsons, four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Adolph Marsicek of Cuba and two sisters, Libbie Kouba of Narka; Lenora Lesovsky of Cuba.

Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church of Narka. Interment was in National Cemetery south of Narka, Kansas.
