Anton Marsicek was born June 13, 1863 at Zeveston County, Votice, Czechoslovakia to Joe and Mary Marsicek.
In 1867, he and his parents came to the United States and settled in Wisconsin where they lived for 11 years. In 1878, they moved to Republic County, Kansas.
On August 25, 1888 he was united to Barbara Novak in marriage. To this union five children were born; one son and four daughters.
Anton and Barbara Marasicek established their home south of Narka, Kansas and lived there until September 1945. Because of poor health they moved to their daughter's home in Munden, Kansas.
Anton died at the Belleville Hospital on April 20, 1949.
Burial was at National Cemetery south of Narka, Kansas.
