He served in the US Army after the Korean War. Bill was a lift truck operator at Mack Trucks, retiring after 25 years; he served as the former treasurer of the Mack Retirees and was a member of UAW Local 677. He was a member of SMAC#19-Crime Watch in Allentown for many years.
Survivors: Sisters Joanne Haffner and Shirley Ruch; four nephews, a niece and cousins. Predeceased by a sister Julie Brunner.
Services: There will be a viewing on Wednesday August 13, 2014 from 10:30 AM to 11AM in the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown, followed by a Military Service at 11: 45 AM at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Allentown.
