Mr. Pennington was born on September 29, 1919 in Clairborn, TN to George W. and Margaret (Hopkins) Pennington. He was a veteran of the 8th Air Force during World War II. Mr. Pennington had also worked for Glass Container Corporation for 26 years as a carpenter before his retirement in 1979. Mr. Pennington is survived by his wife Rose (Goff) Pennington; five sons George, Charles, David, Wayne and Tommy Pennington; five daughters Juanita Donofrio, Judy Smyser, Diana Kidwell, Kathy Dunmire and Darlene Pennington; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
