Mr. Looney graduated from Princeton HS in 1932 and from Concord College in 1936, later earned his Masters in Education at WVU, and worked in the Mercer County school system for 40 years as a shop teacher, Principal, and Coach. At various times he was at Bluefield HS, Montcalm HS, Fairview Junior High, and Central Junior High. Mr. Looney was an officer in the US Navy in WWII and was a member of the American Legion and of Trinity UMC.
