Bertha grew up in Kansas City, Missouri until 1910 when she moved with her parents to Riverside, California. Bertha was united in marriage with Mr. Harry H. House of Riverside, California in 1915. Bertha and Harry then made their home together in Corona, California where they raised three children: Gordon, William, and Patricia. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Harry. Bertha was active in the First Baptist Church of Corona and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Corona Community Hospital for many years.
