Agnes Magrosky, 101, Bridgewater, N.J., previously of Hazelton, died Thursday at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, N.J.

She resided in Bridgewater with her daughter-in-law, Betty Magrosky, since 1989, having moved from Hazleton.

Born in Krakow, Poland, Feb. 1, 1903, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen KasperskL

She was a member of St Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton, and Holy Trinity Church, Bridgewater, N.J.

A graduate of Bloomsburg College, she had taught in the elementary grades in Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Magrosky was an avid cook.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Frank Bernard Magrosky, in 1956; sons, Clement R. and Thomas; a daughter, Bernice Dermer, and a granddaughter, Cheryl Ashmore.

Surviving, in addition to her daughter-in-law, are a son, Francis B., Levittown; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main SL, Lebanon, N.J.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Church, Hazleton, where the family will greet friends from 9 until 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Boyle Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton.
