Carl Rudolph Alexander, Jr., was born on October 4, 1961 in Waller, Texas as one of five children born to the late Carl Rudolph Alexander, Sr., and Helen Easter. He attended public school in the Waller Independent School District: graduating from Waller High School in the class of 1980. While in Waller High School, he excelled in football and basketball. His football skills awarded him a scholarship to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, where he fostered many friendships that he had cherished to this day.

Carl accepted Christ as being his Lord and Savior at an early age, under the leadership of Supt. Thomas Johnson of Bailey Chapel Church of God in Christ in Waller, Texas. He was a faithful member and received his calling to the ministry at the age of 28. He moved in with and was adopted by his aunt, Orelia Alexander and uncle, Romeo Alexander, Sr., whom he called Mama and Daddy. After relocating to Cypress, Texas, he joined Love and Liberty Fellowship under the pastoral guidance of Pastor Kim Burrell. He later returned to Bailey Chapel, which was his church home under the pastorage of Elder Tommy Lindsey, where he served diligently until God called him home.

Carl then decided to enlist in the United States Navy, serving his country from 1985 to 1989 and received an honorable discharge. Having dreams and goals left to accomplish, he returned to school at Houston Community College and Prairie View A&M University. From 2012-2014, he studied Architecture and received many accolades. He made the Dean's List every semester and maintained a high GPA. In May 2018, he graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Construction Engineering. Some of his awards included being Goodwill Industries of Houston's Person of the Year, Sigma Alpha PI National Leadership Honor Society-AGC Prairie View Chapter, Houston's First Consumer Advisory Board of the Coalition for the Homeless. He was also a very industrious businessman in the Waller and Houston areas. His dream to top any dreams finally became a reality in 2013 when he established Faith Construction, which continues to be evident in the community. By being a savvy entrepreneur, he was able to build numerous trusting relationships and provide career opportunities in the construction industry.

Known as 'Cowboy' by friends and family, Carl was loved by all. He always treated people with love and it was evident in his relationships. He enjoyed football, horseback riding, barbecuing, worship service and singing. One of his favorite songs was 'Nobody Greater.' Although he wasn't the best singer, he would sing that song to the top of his lungs as it was his testimony.

On January 20, 2021, Carl heard the call of the King of the Contractors. He was preceded in death by his biological parents: Carl Rudolph Alexander, Sr., and Helen Easter Alexander; adoptive father: Romeo Alexander, Sr.,; two adoptive brothers: Holly V. Alexander and Romeo Alexander, Jr.,; one biological sister: Tammy Bledsoe and one adoptive sister: Sharon M. Alexander.
