Dorothy Sue Chohrach, 93, of 62 Main Street, Lewis Run, passed away, peacefully, on Saturday (Dec. 26, 2020) at the Pavilion at BRMC.
Born on Sept. 3, 1927 in Lewis Run, she was a daughter of the late Adam S. and Susan (Bonyko) Chohrach. She attended school at Lewis Run and St. Bernard, graduating in 1945.
For 45 years she was an executive secretary at Dresser Manufacturing.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. She was a lifetime member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, and a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.
Dorothy is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins including her godchildren: Wilma Mount, Richard Chohrach and Sarah Mendez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John, George, Steve and Paul, and three sisters, Anne, Mary, and Agnes.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, Lewis Run with Fr. Jim Gutting, Senior Administrative Assistant as Celebrant. Burial will follow at the St. Bernard Cemetery.
Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, all attendees are required to wear a mask at church.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, or the charity of the donors choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
