Martha Breese Denman Van Aelst, age 88, died on Monday, September 24, 2007 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Richland County on August 14, 1919, the daughter of Levi and Janette (Spencer) Breese. Martha worked at Ray O Vac and then at the Baraboo Coil factory until her retirement. She enjoyed bingo, Card games, fishing and being with her family.
Survivors include her children: Laura R. (Norbert) Bloedow of Lone Rock Darwin Denman of Michigan her son in law: Jeff Schoeffer of Baraboo many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Thomas David Denman, and daughter Joyce Elaine Schoeffer; two grandsons, her sister Minnie Denman and brother Blemus Breese.
Funeral services will beheld at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Pastor Craig Peach will officiate and burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Willow township. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. The Pratt Funeral Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
