American Comedian and Actor. Known as the "Master of Malaprop" known for his numerous appearances on the 'Tonight Show' during the 1960s. The Boston native kicked off his career in 1950's in the standup comedy scene, making malaproprisms , or the intentional mistaken use of similar sounding words, which became his signature routine.
