The former Joann Haack was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Lillian Horn Haack.
She attended Jane Lamb School of Nursing, Clinton.
She was self-employed as a nursing caregiver for 35 years.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and canning fruits and vegetables.
Survivors include a son, Gary Wethington, Rock Island; grandchildren, Ryan, Whitni and Noah Wethington; her mother, Clinton; sisters, Joyce Cavanaugh, Clinton, and Beverly Haack, East Moline; a brother, David Haack, Branson, Mo.; and a special friend, Kenneth Berhenke, Andalusia.
