William "Bill" Newby, Jr., 57, of Lexington, husband of Lillian Lawson Newby, died at the St. Joseph Hospital.
He was the son of the late William and Katherine Browning Newby, Sr.
He was a retired electrician for Osram Sylvania Lamp Plant in Versailles with 28 years of service.
Mr. Newby was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam Conflict.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Marsha (Tom) Wall, Nicholasville and Rebecca Newby, Lexington; four grandchildren; four brothers; several aunts, uncles, neices and nephews.
