Happy Spring and Summer Gherkins and to all of our family and friends!

Gherkins, the kitty, disappeared from home 2 and a half months after relocating to our family home when her beloved owner and our son Daniel passed in December 2019. The police officers said she may be highly traumatized from the events surrounding our sons death. Gherkins was skittish for the first 3 days when we brought her home, but settled in nicely within the week, as she had lived here in her early years. She became frantic and wild with running around the house one day and we were unable to console her actions. She hid for a few hours and then ran out of the front door when it was opened ever so slightly and was not found. Gherkins did not return. She was microchipped but we were unable to locate the number in our son's belongings. Although there is still much to unpack, we may find tags later. We found the vet clinic who administered the microchip, but they recently sold and the new owner does not have the records. WHAT ?? So we do not have the microchip number. May Gherkins be found safe, and perhaps some day return to us.

Yes, we recovered the microchip number, but the Vet area had just sold and did not leave any of his records on his vet patients...so we are still without anyone to help us. With love to you sweet Gherkins ♥♥♥♥
