Samuel Evans, 86 of Campbellsburg died Thursday morning, June 3 at the King's Daughters Hospital, Madison, Indiana. He was a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church.
His survivors are one son, Sam Harvell Evans, Campbellsburg; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Dunn, Toledo, Ohio; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Stella Bee Dunn Evans and two sons and a daughter.
Funeral services were held at 2pm Sunday at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford. Rev. James Smith officiated. Burial was in the Bedford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
