"Mrs. Lottie Shalkowski, 75, 603 Grier St., Dickson City, died Monday in Mid-Valley Hospital after an illness. Her husband is Bernard Shalkowski.
Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette Rolka Bartkowski, she was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City, St. Theresa Society and the Polish Women's Alliance. She attended Dickson City Schools. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Stasia Adamski, with whom she resided; Mrs. Bernadine and Nicholas, Tonawanda, N.Y., and Mrs. Frances Sobol, Kenmore, N.Y.; two sons, Joseph, Levittown, and Bernard Jr., Tonawanda; six brothers, John, Hillary, Alex, Anthony and Walter Bartkowski, Dickson City, and Chester Bartkowski, Scranton; three sisters, Sister M. Jolanta, Felician Order, St. Joseph's Hospital, Philadelphia, and Mrs. Frances Krieski and Mrs. Helen Myak, Dickson City; 15 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Thursday from Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, 519 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Marys Church. Interment, parish cemetery. Friends may call tonight, 7 to 9, and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Rosary, Wednesday, 8 p.m."
