Mrs. Bernice Frankowski died June 10, 1948 at Oil City Hospital , in Oil City Pennsylvania after a brief illness. Born in Poland, she came to this country 60 years ago and lived in Dunkirk for 51 years and nine years in Oil City with her daughter Mrs. Joseph Pilewski.

Mother of Mrs. Joseph Pilewski, Felix Luczkowiak of Oil City, Pennsylvania, Sylvester Luczkowiak and Aloysius Frankowski of Erie, Pennsylvania, Joseph Frankowski of Dunkirk and Mrs. Raymond Stayoch of Buffalo; sister of Mrs. J. Gusman, Mrs. Josephine Horansinki of Buffalo, and Frances Zielinski of Poland, Eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
