She was married to Mr. Claude Clarence George, Sr. in Atlanta, GA in 1917. To this union was born seven children, Mr. & Mrs. Bennie George, Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Mouton (Laurell), Dr.& Mrs. Claude George, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Wilbur George, Attorney & Mrs. John George, Dr. & Mrs. James Green, Sr. (Cora), and Mr. & Mrs. William Castille (Evelyn).
She is the sister of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Williams (Willa), of Chicago, Ill. Aunt to Mrs. Harriet Graham, Jacksonville, Fla., and Mr. & Mrs. Jack Baker (Jaunita) of Chicago, Ill.
She was a long time member of Big Bethel A.M.E. Church, Pioneer Boy Scouts Mothers Club, and the Dale Creek Community Club in Atlanta, GA.
