Federico "Fred" Sánchez, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
Fred was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 5, 1943 to Antonio and Altagracia Sánchez.
Fred loved baseball and played semi-pro for many years, he was also a golden gloves boxer.
Fred loved to go to the casino and to the gym almost everyday. Fred loved to work and provide for his wife and family. They were blessed with many years traveling together. Fred was proud of raising his six children and grandchildren.
Fred was preceded in death by Tony Lovato, Rita Lovato, Elias Sánchez, John Sánchez, Josie Wallace and Manuel Sánchez.
Fred is survived by wife of 57 years, Alice Sánchez, children, Lisa Pulliam and her husband, Rob, Freddy Sánchez, Christopher Sánchez, James Sánchez and his wife, Deborah, Janel Armijo and her husband, Michael and Jennifer García and her husband, Keith, sister, Trinnie López and his very special sister, Lita Pineda, nine grandchildren, Jacquelyn García, Rob Pulliam, Aluce Sánchez, Keith Ryan García, Valeree Sánchez. Jill Padilla, Noah Sánchez, Brianna García and Kevin García and two great-grandchildren, Rob Pulliam III and Audrey Pulliam.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Newsoul Church, 7311 Glenrio Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM, with a Prayer service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pajarito Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers will be Freddy Sánchez, James Sánchez, Christopher Sánchez, Keith García, Michael Armijo and Jennifer García. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Ryan García and Noah Sánchez.
