Charles attended the Restoration Church of Muskogee. He was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for seventeen years. He had his own silver bell and was nicknamed the Cowboy Bell Ringer.
He is survived by his wife, Karron Sue Webster; one son, Jimmy Anderson; one daughter, Trisha Anderson; one brother, Jack Ramsey; two sisters, Lenora Davis and Louise Newman; four stepchildren, Mike, Chris, David, Darrin Webster and their wives; seven grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lola Mae Anderson; one brother, Rondall Anderson; one sister, Marie Nightingale; and one stepson, Rodney Webster.
