Mrs. Coralee “Lee” Gray Blair, of Plano, Texas, born on January 12, 1932 in Sherman, Texas to Margaret and Benny Gray, passed away at 87 on July 6, 2019. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 1952, and served as head librarian at Spring Creek Elementary School in Richardson for twenty years. Lee was married to James Felton Blair for 66 wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth and Margaret.

Lee is survived by her husband, her sons, James Randal and Paul Blair, daughter Rebecca Blair, their partners Jan, Debra, and Steve, and her sister Jeanie Todd. Lee is the grandmother of 10 and the great-grandmother of 9 (so far). Lee loved nurturing her large family, knitting, doing needlework and playing bridge with her numerous friends. She was a member of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church for 50 years, and she was the president of the Texas Woman’s University Alumni Association for two terms. The family invites donations in lieu of flowers in Lee’s name to Network-Community Ministries Food Bank, Visiting Nurses Association of Texas (Hospice), and Canyon Creek Church.

Friends and family can pay their respects at a visitation on Tuesday, July 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas (469) 925-1436. Memorial Service will be held the following day, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church, 3901 North Star Road, Richardson, 75082. All are welcome and we are sure she will love to see you all.
