Marlene J. Sebring, 70, of Story City, died Jan. 28 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City. Burial will be in the Lawn Hill Cemetery near Stanhope.
Marlene is survived by her husband, LeRoy, of Story City; four sons, Jim Branch (Joan) of Zion, Ill., David Branch of Panama City, Fla., Jack Branch (Diane) of Sarasota, Fla. and Paul Branch of Boone; three daughters, JoAnn Johnson of Millbrook, Ala., Helen Branch of Boone, and Angie Craig (Gary) of Story City; a stepson, Mark Sebring of Story City; 15 grandchildren; a great grandchild; two brothers, Raymond Miller of Gloucester, Va., and Glenn Miller; and two sisters, Kathleen Newton (Melvin) of Boone and Bonnie McDougall (Dennis) of Colfax.
Visitation will be Monday after 3 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church.
