-Lt. Dana Quick McComb b-9 Feb 1880, Cass County, MO; m-27 Aug 1909, Mary Olive Wold.
-Cyrus Erle McComb b-13 Sept 1881, m-10 June 1908, Eva Kimmon
She was listed in 1910 census as a widow and inmate at the State Hospital in Kankakee Co IL.
The following is from a diary of Harriet (Little) Quick, transcribed and contributed by Lela Koch:
"Dec. 14 1911 Sister Paulina McComb passes away at Kankakee hospital Ill. After nearly two years illness.
Dec. 15,1911 We receive telegram from Dr Wilgus of Kankakee of the death of sister Paulina. We phone D.B. Wallis and Maurice Quick. Maurice comes over and he and father go to Blair to send telegram to have remains sent by express to Quick City. Father has the Bank wire the Kankakee Bank to draw $150.00 for expenses.
Dec. 16, 1911 We get telegram that the body will reach Kansas City Sabbath morn. We phone to D.B. Wallis. He sent telegram to Erle.
Dec.17, 1911 Father goes to Cemetery to have grave dug. Girls come down to go to funeral. We have lunch and go to Quick City. We meet Alice Wallis at the train. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Hood, at the Christian Church, immediately after train arrives. We go to cemetery for burial."
